This week's projects & challenges...

I'm feeling super productive this week! I finally finished my tags for Linda's (ScrapChica) Tag Swap! Here they are:

Front of The Greeting Farm themed swap tag. (Sorry Linda, I know they're suppose to be exactly the same,
but since we were making nine, I took this chance to practice hair coloring!)
I love my raven haired beauty best, I added a little
blue and really liked the look :)

Linda asked that the back of the tag include a
"baseball trading card" kind of look to it.
So I added a mini image and put some info about the stamp on the back.

Last, is a little sneak peek of a Lindy's Stamp Gang Design Team project I'm working on.  LSG is about to release a new set of shimmery goodness!  The set is called "Naughty&Nice" and you've probably seen the color on FB or the website (which by the way has a whole knew look! Take a look HERE.)  And if you haven't seen them yet, here they are (love the playful names, heehee!)

Back so soon...

Yes, here I am, back so soon! Hahaha! Just finished another project that I want to submit for another couple of challenges, and I'm terribly close to missing the deadline so here it is:

I created this little bugger for two challenges.

First, Tickled Pink Stamps Challenge #28 

The challenge was to make it 

CUTE... WITH A BUTTERFLY

LOL! Well, I think this is pretty darn cute,

and I used the BoBunny Gabrielle Collection

which is just chuck full 'o butterflies!

Second, Pink {INK} Sketch Challenges

This is their first challenge and

the sketch is awesome!

Oh! And guess what? I made that flower myself! I was inspired by my friend Friday after she gave me a little treat bag filled with goodies, and adorned with an adorable hand-made crocheted flower.  Well, I can't crochet, and I'm not very good at sewing, but I gave it a shot anyway!  Goodness, I worked all day (okay, not counting breaks for eating, restroom, and mid-day nap lol!) and came up with 4 flowers.  The one I used here consists of lace, tulle, and a single pearl.  I sewed it all together, and I'm pretty proud of the results... I'll post the others soon, ACTUALLY... I'll go ahead and post them now... woohoo, I'm on a rollllll, on fire! Just like the Japanese goalie of the women's soccer team... LMAO!  Okay maybe NOT that HOT! But here it is, let me know what you think!

I made this one for Friday.  I was going for Shabby Chic... what do y'all think?

This one was for my sister. 

And these are all 4, I only have one left that's not been used yet.

Hello My Bloggy Friends!
Just a few things I thought I'd share... First, you all know how I LOVE KennyK, well, they're celebrating their first year anniversary with a Blog Hop and a Challenge with some amazing prizes! So you should definitely check it out.  They're also offering great Dollar Deals on some of their Digi's and a cute little FREEBIE!  Of course I entered the challenge, here's my submission.

I enter ALL the time and never win, but I'm hopeful that someday "Mr. Random.org" will pick me!

Second, I wanted to share another bit of exciting news... I was ever so graciously allowed to join the fabulous Lisa Sumpter as a Guest Designer at Paper Craft Journey!  Lisa hosts challenges every other week.  They post on Thursday, and announce the random winner 13 days later on a Wednesday.  I've been participating in a few different challenges, and I've been having loads of fun! 1.  I'm a native New Yorker, but now that I have lived in Virginia for half of my life, 
     I truly feel like it's home.
2.  My kids are my pride and joy, and nothing I have done, or will ever do, can 
     compare to that sense of accomplishment.
3.  I love my job, and I'm lucky to have found some of my best friends at work!
4.  My BFF Lisa, has been my BFF since we met in 3rd Grade!!!! (over 3 decades   
     ago-OMG! Are we really that OLD?)
5.  Our family is tightly knit, and manages to drive me crazy and keep me sane 
     all at once! (is that an oxymoron?)
6.  I love to read trashy novel, but don't judge, I read a lot of other stuff too!
7.  The on-line scrapping community has changed my LIFE! LOL!

TPS Challenge #25

I've been hoarding this beautiful pad of 6x6 paper, Butterfly Garden from Pink Paislee.  I got it so long ago from Carlene the Pink Scrapper at her online Boutique.  I love shopping there, the price is right and the customer service is unbeatable!

The stamp is from Tickled Pink Stamps and it's called...

  Lil Victorian Steampunk Lolita Evie

I used Lindy's to add the shimmer, and Pearl Accents for
her earrings and buttons.
I also used Glossy Accents on her eyes and rose head piece
for added dimension.

I used Copics to color her hair, face and hand.
I paper pieced her dress, and colored in just a bit of shading.
