Post Cards from Paris ❤

Hi GUYS!
Super excited today! I have to two things I want to share.
First, I want to share the project I created for
It's an Shabby Chic Altered Wall Hanging
I'm really excited about this project and let me tell you why...
I've know about the due date for this project for some time,
but for some reason I was totally stumped.  I didn't know what
I wanted to make... but I knew I wanted to make it shabby-chic and
I knew I want to make something "different," or at least "different" for me.
I was ready to hunker down and produce something yesterday first thing.
But low and behold, it turns out that my hubs had invited some of
my favorite people over for a lil' visit and a lil' barbecue!
Fun was had by all... great food and great family is a perfect blend!
The fun did not end until my lovely sister (Yvette DaileyScrapper) left...
oh around mid-night, LOL! But I wouldn't trade our family time for
all the scrapping in the world, I just knew I'd need to make myself
a double shot of espresso and just one more slice of Tiramasu,
'cause I was about to pull an all-nighter!
OMG - I was up until 5:00am this morning, but oooo I was on a roll!!!
Here it is, and I must say, I'm pretty pumped about it, LOL:

Here's the YouTube video:
 http://youtu.be/oxTguq3A_oc

I used the following I Am Roses flowers:

R8 - Paper Roses
R21 - Pinks & White
R 77 - Pink Roses
JC3 - Small Pearl Cream Crochet
T1 -147 Ivory Mini Rose Buds
T20- 152 Small White Semi Open Rose Bud
T30 - 124 Soft Pink Semi Open Rose Bud

The paper collection I picked up at Joann's, it's called
Victorian Parlour by ColorBok
I also used some Lindy's Starburst Stains and Laser Cut Dies, some
Diamond Dust, and some awesome digital images from
Beatriz Jennings at her iralamijashop on etsy.

So what do you think... I'm thinking it's not too "shabby" for a sleep deprived,
caffeine - sugar induced creation!!! Hahaha!

Okay now for the second item I want to share...
I want to GIVE this project away, along with a few other of my favorite things!
Soooo, if you're interested... please be sure to do TWO things for me:
#1. Please become a subscriber of ScrapBliss on YouTube
and a follower on this BLOG.
#2. Please leave a comment  on this POST and let me know that you've met
requirement #1 and that you'd like to be entered into the random drawing.
I feel like this give-away is long over due and I'm eager to get it started!
I will announce the winner on June 16, 2012.  School ends on the 15th this year,
so that will be the official start of my summer break!
Please make sure you have done items
 #1 & #2 before midnight EST June 15, 2012.
Thank you guys for stopping by,  and I hope
you'll join the give-away contest!
Hugs,
Yvonne

How I Store my IAR...

Hello my dear blog buddies!
Today the I Am Roses Design Team will sharing some fun pics with you all.
Our lovely Design Team Coordinator,
Arlene (MyButteflyKisses)
came up with a great idea. Many of us are curious about how
we all store our I Am Roses goodies, so she thought
that maybe some of the IAR youtube viewer might be curious as well.
So here are some pics of how I store my fab flowers:

Most of the time the majority of them are stored
in a deep drawer at my work desk. I like them here
'cause they are right by my side :)

Here's my desk on a good day... actually a bad day,
'cause if it's this clean then I'm not scrapping!

I also keep some in some photo boxes:

And when I'm thinking about  a specific project, I collect
what I think I might use in a "holding" basket:

Well my friends, thanks for stopping by. If you haven't
already, be sure to watch the I Am Roses Design Team YouTube
video for a collection of photos on how other team members
store their flowers. Be sure to leave a comment on the video,
I think there might be a prize...woohoo!
Hugs!

Abby's "Dilo En Español" Challenge

Hey there! I'm here again with another challenge!
The theme is "Happy Mother's Day"
Here is the card I created:

I used the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline Collection.
The paper pad is called "Fiddlesticks," and it's a
delightful combination of florals, wood grains, plaids, and
polka dots. I especially love the muted colors and the gray undertones.

The Magnolia stamp goes perfectly with the "Happy
Mother's Day" sentiment.  The senti is from one of Abby's original
stamp sets called "Que Siga la Fiesta."

The flowers are from I Am Roses.  The daisy was white, but
I spritzed it lightly with Lindy's Stamp Gang's
"Wake Me Up Before You Go Gold."
The flower center and the lace were gifts from my friend,
and fellow IAR Design Team member, Joy!
Joy is such a sweetie, and does such beautiful work!

Well my friends, before I say good-bye I'll post a few more pics, and
then I'll let you go...   so you can go check out Abby's challenge!

Thanks again for visiting!
Hope you'll be back soon!
Hugs,
Yvonne
