Farewell 2011...

Wow! The last day of the year... unbelievable!
It was a year of many blessings, which I am
ever so grateful for.
My family is happy and healthy, and we've settled
into the rhythm of having our baby girl away at college.

Professionally, I have THE best set of third graders I
have EVER had!  They are sweet and kind, well-behaved,
and well-mannered!

And my crafty life... well, it's just... mmm...
AWESOME!!!
I've been scrapbooking forever, or so it seems.  I started
when my daughter was just a wee lil' one, and
now she's ninteen. I still remember the first
Creative Memories party I attended... that's
where it all started.  I was so smug! Megan was in pre-school,
Max was just a baby, and all I could think of was, "who
the heck has time for this???" And seriously, back then
it was just solid papers, glue sticks, scissors, and stickers!
We've come a long way, haven't we?
Now, scrapping is all I ever want to do! LOL!

This card was inspired by Jo, she's paperdrama on youtube, and
basically she's amazing...
The image is from the Kiki LaRue collection, and
she's adorable.  The paper is from Basic Grey,
the "Out of Print" collection, I believe.
The senti is from Fiskar Clear Stamps, and the set is called
"Latte Love." The lovely flowers & leaves, which have all been sprayed
with Lindy's Stamp Gang Cactus Gold Glitz Spritz, are from
I Am Roses.

This next card was a quickie I made for my
momma on her birthday! Super simple and she LOVED it!
Oh boy, this turned into the longest post ever!
Thank you for visiting and thank you checking my blog out!
May the new year bring you much love, health, and happiness!
Hope you'll come again!
